Hi everyone, Water is running @ 185 cfs…. First King Salmon of the season brought in to Salmon river sports shop caught behind the store. Reports of fish hooked on the big wall, in the ballpark and Black hole. Not a big run by any means. Mostly locals fishing and spotting a few here or there. We are encouraging locals and fishermen not to far away to come out and see if they spot or hook one. Real good reports from the lake!!!! Still early tho and we have a few more hot days ahead. We are busy getting ready and hope to have a good year. Call 315 298 4343 for more info… Happy fishing srss j. button

Just a reminder we do guide trips all the time. Whether you want to learn to walk the river and fish or relax on a drift boat trip down the river we have fishing trips for whatever your fishing preference is and now we do offer hunting trips for the area. Spend a week with your buddies fishing the river, shooting deer in the woods, and dropping ducks from a blind we offer it all for whatever you want to do. Salmon and steelhead in the river or walleye in the lake we offer it all so call and book. And for those who don’t hunt and fish but know people who do, guide trips make great Christmas presents. Call us every day from 4am to 10pm and book.

The “Sunnys” and Blue Gills are starting to bite as they are moving into spawn. We are having a later winter then expected and we still are on the ice. Oneida Lake, and Sandy Pond are the two places we have been buying lots of fish from. Fish in the bays with small jigs or waxies. Now is the time to get up here if you’re coming as, when the snow melts the river will be flooded and UN fish-able for the time being. With further questions feel free to give us a ring at 315-298-4343.
