We have seen the first sign of bullhead this weekend at green-point we got some good numbers of fish at night through the ice in about 6-7 foot of water on a mud bottom and jigging about 6 inch from the bottom. Charmount has shown us some really good sized pike if you know where to go. The first place winner of our derby was pulled out of there, but as far as consistency Sandy Pond hasn’t let us down so far. Walleye and pike have probably come off the pond more than anything else all season.Read More

The water in the river is running around 1200 CFS which is going to bring in fresh steelies in the lower half. The first bite in the morning has been hot and we’ve seen some nice ones pulled out of the town hole. The river is running around 1200 CFS which is going to help bring in some freshies. The browns are feeding right now and we’re expecting stone flies to hatch within the next few weeks so watch for them along the banks and lean toward insect patterns when it warms up.Read More
