The water in the river is running around 1200 CFS which is going to bring in fresh steelies in the lower half. The first bite in the morning has been hot and we’ve seen some nice ones pulled out of the town hole. Altmar under the bridge has been doing well, but can get slightly crowded so stay in the lower half if you want it to yourself. We saw our first hen dripping eggs about two weeks ago. We haven’t seen a stone fly hatch yet, but expect them to start showing up along the banks in a week or two, maybe sooner if it warms up. Stone flies are always our biggest seller in the spring time.
