Bluegills will start to move into the shallows as the water begins to warm up. With

the high water recently it has made for hard fishing, however now with the water

dropping and the water warming up the fish will bite. There have been reports of

some fish being caught from sandy pond and other ponds around central New York.

Some good early season spots are sandy pond and lake view.  We currently are buying

blue gills at $.80 for 6 inches to 8 inchs and $1.00 for 8 inches and up per pound.  If

you have any questions stop by the shop between 5am and 9 pm any day of the

week, or give us a call at 298-4343.
