Perch conditions have been difficult due to the low temperature and snow we’ve been getting. This is always a time of the year for perch when you have to hang up your rod for a few weeks and wait for the ice to come in. With the way the pond has been looking with the water level so low, this could be a tough year for perch in the immediate area so locals might want to try branching out to other areas like Oneida and even up North more. For those of you who do have a honey hole you’re still able to get to we have fatheads in the shop if you need them.
