rainbow-nov-21-2

Hi Everyone,

water is running at 1200 cfs……… domestics are still in spawn.  Some

domestics  can reach the 20 pound range. Most are 6 to 12 pound and are still stocked

in the Salmon river. Baits to use pink bubble gum worms, stone flies, and egg sacks.

Male rainbows have a kype and they tend to be short and fat. Most domestics spawn

and release back into the lake. North and south sandy creek sometimes takes on

nice runs of rainbows. These rainbows are usually wild are in and out into mid to

late January. Keeping a pulse on tributaries can be tough, because they are not dam

regulated. Good rule of thumb small creeks are good to fish the day or two after a

hard rain. Great time to fish rainbows with not a lot of fishermen here and locals

hunting. Just a reminder we are getting close to the holidays and we do mail order.

Also we offer gift certificates witch makes great stocking stuffers.  For more info call
